Can you feel the neurons necessary to read this note
Can there be any better reason for you to gloat?
How long have you paused 2 seconds, maybe even 3.
Has the temperature dropped or risen a degree?
Well, in those precious moments someone's lost a life
A husband is sobbing at the loss of his wife
A child has brought a smile to the face of his mother
Somewhere, yet another Cain, has slain his broher
Clutch the ground, the world is NOT revolving around you
There are things happening next door that would astound you
You're a free spirit with no dark chains to bound you
I ask you only allow positive energy to surround you
For once you're last days have found you
You want loved ones wound around you
Life's experiences have crowned you
with humility and wisdom to ground you
So you won't be forgotten
when you're dead and rotten
And time will only tell a tale of "I told you so"
When you look back and ask Time, "where did you go?"
